Let us assume, the MRP of a book is Rs.100, and the production cost of the book is Rs.30/-. Now, the profits would be calculated as Profits = MRP - (Distribution Cost + Production Cost) = Rs.100 - (30 + 40) = Rs. 30
Rs. 30/- would be your earnings per book.
Author Earnings calculated for Digital/E-books
Let us assume, the MRP of a book is Rs.100, and the production cost of the book is Rs.30/-. Now, the profits would be calculated as Profits = MRP - (Distribution Cost + Production Cost) = Rs.100 - (20 + 20) = Rs. 60
