1. Introduction

Talentwood Media & Entertainment Association (TMEA) is a Section 8 Not-for-Profit Company incorporated under the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 (India). The association has been established with the objective of supporting, promoting and strengthening the ecosystem of professionals working across the film, television, digital media, performing arts, creative arts, and entertainment industries.

TMEA functions as an industry-oriented professional association that aims to create a structured, transparent and collaborative environment where artists, technicians, creators, and media professionals can connect, grow and contribute to the development of the creative industry.

The association focuses on building a professional network that promotes ethical practices, professional identity, and responsible collaboration among individuals and organizations working within the entertainment and media sectors.

Vision and Purpose

The primary vision of Talentwood Media & Entertainment Association is to contribute towards the development of a fair, organized and inclusive creative industry environment, where professionals are able to establish their identity, build connections and access opportunities for skill development and industry awareness.

The association works towards fostering a responsible and professional culture in the creative sector while encouraging collaboration between artists, creators, producers, technicians and media professionals.

Providing members with an Association Membership / Artist Identity Card that may be used for professional identification and association-level verification within the creative and media industry ecosystem.

Skill Development and Industry Awareness

Promoting skill enhancement, awareness initiatives, training opportunities and professional development programs related to the entertainment, media and creative industries.

Ethical and Professional Conduct

Encouraging members to follow ethical standards, professional discipline and responsible conduct while working within the entertainment and media sector.

Open and Inclusive Membership

To encourage wider participation and industry collaboration, Talentwood Media & Entertainment Association (TMEA) may provide association membership to eligible artists, technicians, creators, performers, media professionals and other individuals connected with the creative industries.

Membership may be offered free of cost by the association, subject to the completion of the application process, verification of applicant details, and acceptance of the association's rules, regulations and code of conduct.

The association reserves the right to review applications and grant membership based on its internal membership policies and eligibility guidelines.

In order to facilitate digital access, application processing and administrative coordination, membership applications and associated documentation processes may be managed through the official digital platforms operated by PURVANCHAL FILM CITY PRIVATE LIMITED, a duly incorporated private limited company under Indian law.

Such collaboration helps ensure efficient processing, documentation management and administrative support while maintaining the independent not-for-profit character and governance framework of the association.

Commitment to Professional Transparency

Talentwood Media & Entertainment Association is committed to maintaining transparency, fairness and professional integrity in all its membership-related processes.

All applicants and members are expected to comply with the Constitution, Rules, Regulations, Code of Conduct and Disciplinary Framework of the Association, as published and updated from time to time on the official website.

2. Membership Registration Platform

Applicants seeking membership with Talentwood Media & Entertainment Association (TMEA) may submit their application for Association Membership / Artist Registration through the official digital platform operated and managed by:

PURVANCHAL FILM CITY PRIVATE LIMITED,
a duly incorporated private limited company under the Companies Act, 2013 (India).

The digital platform facilitates an organized and transparent application system designed to streamline the membership registration process. Through this platform, applicants can submit their personal details, professional information and required documentation for review.

All applications received through the platform undergo administrative and digital processing, including record creation, documentation handling and preliminary verification. After completion of the administrative process, the application details may be forwarded to the association for membership consideration and registration purposes.

The use of this digital platform ensures efficient processing, proper documentation management and structured record maintenance while supporting the membership administration of the association.

3. Processing & Documentation Service Fee

While membership of Talentwood Media & Entertainment Association (TMEA) is intended to be free of cost, applicants may be required to pay a minimum Processing & Documentation Service Fee for administrative and digital services associated with the membership application process.

This service fee is charged and collected by:

PURVANCHAL FILM CITY PRIVATE LIMITED,
a duly incorporated private limited company under the Companies Act, 2013 (India).

The Processing & Documentation Service Fee covers services including, but not limited to:

  • Online application submission and processing

  • Digital record creation, storage and management

  • Documentation review and administrative verification

  • Membership registration coordination with the association

  • Identity card design, formatting, preparation and documentation handling

  • Database entry and record maintenance

  • Communication and administrative support related to the membership process

Nature of the Service Fee

For the avoidance of doubt, the Processing & Documentation Service Fee:

  • Is not a membership fee of Talentwood Media & Entertainment Association (TMEA)

  • Does not represent any donation, contribution or subscription to the association

  • Is solely charged for administrative, technical and documentation-related services provided through the application platform

All such service charges are billed and collected by PURVANCHAL FILM CITY PRIVATE LIMITED in accordance with applicable tax laws, financial regulations and statutory requirements, including the levy of GST wherever applicable under Indian law.

Non-Refundable & Non-Transferable Policy

The Processing & Documentation Service Fee is strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

  • Withdrawal or cancellation of application by the applicant

  • Rejection or non-approval of membership by the association

  • Submission of incomplete, inaccurate or misleading information

  • Failure to complete the application or verification process

  • Voluntary discontinuation of the membership application by the applicant

  • Suspension or cancellation of membership in accordance with association rules

Once the processing of an application has been initiated, the service fee shall be considered fully utilized towards administrative and documentation services.

The fee cannot be transferred, adjusted, reassigned or carried forward to another applicant, membership category, program or service.

Applicants are therefore advised to carefully review all eligibility requirements, policies and documentation before submitting the application and making any payment.

Acceptance of Fee Policy

By submitting an application and paying the Processing & Documentation Service Fee, the applicant acknowledges and agrees that:

  • The fee is charged solely for administrative and documentation services

  • The fee is non-refundable and non-transferable

  • Payment of the fee does not guarantee membership approval or any professional opportunities

Payment, Billing & GST Compliance

All payments made for Processing & Documentation Services through this platform are collected and processed by:

PURVANCHAL FILM CITY PRIVATE LIMITED
A private limited company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 (India).

Payments may be made through the payment methods made available on the platform, including but not limited to:

  • Online payment gateways

  • Digital payment systems

  • Bank transfers

  • Other authorized electronic payment channels

All payments must be completed through authorized channels provided on the platform. The applicant is responsible for ensuring that the payment details submitted are accurate and valid.

Payment Confirmation

Upon successful payment, the applicant may receive:

  • A digital payment confirmation

  • Transaction reference number

  • Payment acknowledgment via email, SMS or platform notification (where applicable)

This confirmation serves as proof of payment for the Processing & Documentation Service Fee.

Billing & Tax Compliance

All Processing & Documentation Service Fees are billed and accounted for by PURVANCHAL FILM CITY PRIVATE LIMITED in compliance with applicable financial and taxation laws in India.

Where applicable, Goods and Services Tax (GST) or other statutory taxes may be charged in accordance with prevailing tax regulations.

Any applicable tax component shall be clearly reflected in the payment receipt, invoice or billing record issued for the transaction.

Responsibility for Payment Transactions

The applicant is responsible for ensuring:

  • The correctness of payment information submitted

  • The successful completion of the payment transaction

  • The retention of payment confirmation or receipt for future reference

In case of any payment-related issues such as duplicate payment, transaction failure or technical errors, the applicant should promptly contact the official support channels provided on the website.

No Guarantee of Membership Approval

Payment of the Processing & Documentation Service Fee does not constitute approval of membership.

The payment only covers the administrative and documentation services related to application processing and does not guarantee:

  • Membership approval

  • Identity card issuance

  • Participation in any project or professional opportunity

Membership approval remains subject to the association’s internal review and eligibility criteria.

Fraud Prevention

The platform reserves the right to cancel or investigate any payment transaction suspected to be associated with:

  • Fraudulent activity

  • Unauthorized payment methods

  • Misrepresentation of applicant identity

In such cases, the matter may be referred to appropriate authorities in accordance with applicable laws.

4. Eligibility & Application Review

Submission of an application for association membership does not automatically guarantee acceptance or approval of membership.

All applications may be subject to review and evaluation based on the information provided by the applicant and the internal guidelines of the association.

Applications may be reviewed considering factors such as:

  • Accuracy and completeness of applicant information

  • Submitted documentation and identification details

  • Professional background or demonstrated interest in the creative or entertainment industry

  • Compliance with the rules, regulations and objectives of the association

The association reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:

  • Accept an application and grant membership

  • Reject an application where eligibility criteria are not met

  • Request additional documents, clarifications or verification from the applicant

The association may also decline membership in cases where the application is incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, or inconsistent with the objectives and policies of the association.

5. Issuance of Association Membership

Upon successful completion of the application process and acceptance of membership by the association, the applicant may be issued an:

Association Membership Card 

The identity card is issued by:

Talentwood Media & Entertainment Association (TMEA)

and serves as confirmation that the holder is a registered member of the association.

The Membership / Artist Identity Card may be used for the following purposes:

Professional Identification

To allow members to identify themselves as registered members of the association within professional environments related to the entertainment, media and creative industries.

Association-Level Verification

To provide basic verification of membership status when interacting with industry stakeholders, collaborators, production units, or event organizers.

Participation in Association Activities

To enable participation in programs, initiatives, networking activities, awareness sessions or events organized by the association.

It is important to note that the issuance of the identity card does not grant any statutory authority, licensing rights or regulatory recognition, and its acceptance by any external organization, institution, employer or authority remains subject to their independent policies and discretion.

6. Ownership of the Identity Card

The Association Membership / Artist Identity Card issued to a member remains the official property of Talentwood Media & Entertainment Association (TMEA) and is provided to the member solely for identification and association-related purposes.

The Identity Card:

  • Is issued exclusively to the registered member whose name and details appear on the card.

  • Is strictly non-transferable and must not be shared, assigned, lent, or used by any other individual.

  • May only be used by the member for legitimate professional identification within the scope of association-related activities.

Members are responsible for maintaining the security and proper use of the card at all times.

The Identity Card must be returned, surrendered, or deactivated under any of the following circumstances:

  • Expiry of membership validity

  • Cancellation or termination of membership

  • Suspension imposed by the association

  • Administrative recall or verification requirement by the association

  • Any other circumstance deemed necessary by the association in accordance with its policies

Failure to surrender or discontinue use of the card after such circumstances may be treated as unauthorized use of association property.

7. Validity & Professional Use

The Association Membership / Artist Identity Card is issued primarily for professional identification and association-level verification within the creative, media and entertainment industry ecosystem.

The card may be used by the member to:

  • Identify themselves as a registered member of Talentwood Media & Entertainment Association

  • Participate in association programs, networking events or professional initiatives

  • Provide basic verification of membership status when interacting with industry professionals or organizations

However, it is important to note that:

  • The identity card does not constitute a license, accreditation, certification, or statutory authorization under any law.

  • Acceptance of the card by any production house, studio, organization, institution, authority, event organizer, employer or third party remains entirely subject to their independent policies, internal procedures and discretion.

Talentwood Media & Entertainment Association does not guarantee universal recognition or mandatory acceptance of the identity card by external entities.

8. No Guarantee of Employment or Work

Membership of Talentwood Media & Entertainment Association (TMEA) and possession of the Association Membership / Artist Identity Card does not guarantee employment, casting opportunities, assignments or any form of professional work within the entertainment or media industry.

The association does not assure or promise:

  • Employment opportunities

  • Film, television or digital media projects

  • Casting selections or auditions

  • Paid assignments or professional contracts

  • Placement in production houses or organizations

All professional opportunities within the entertainment and media industry are determined by various factors including:

  • Individual talent and skills

  • Professional merit and experience

  • Independent negotiations and agreements

  • Industry practices and market conditions

Members are solely responsible for pursuing and securing their professional opportunities through lawful and professional means.

9. Member Code of Conduct

By accepting membership and using the Association Membership / Artist Identity Card, the member agrees to abide by the Constitution, Rules, Regulations, Code of Conduct and policies of Talentwood Media & Entertainment Association (TMEA).

Members are expected to maintain the highest standards of professional and ethical conduct while representing themselves as members of the association.

Members shall:

  • Conduct themselves in a professional, respectful and lawful manner

  • Maintain the dignity and reputation of the association

  • Comply with all applicable laws, regulations and industry standards

  • Use the association name, logo and identity responsibly

Members must not:

  • Misrepresent themselves as officials, representatives, or authorized decision-makers of the association without formal authorization

  • Use the identity card for unlawful, unethical or misleading purposes

  • Claim authority, privileges or powers not granted by the association

  • Engage in activities that may harm the reputation, integrity or objectives of the association

Violation of the code of conduct may result in disciplinary action by the association.

10. Misuse, Suspension & Cancellation

Any misuse of the Association Membership / Artist Identity Card, misrepresentation of membership status, or violation of the association’s rules and policies may lead to disciplinary action.

Depending on the nature and seriousness of the violation, the association may take one or more of the following actions:

  • Issuance of a warning notice

  • Temporary suspension of membership privileges

  • Permanent cancellation or termination of membership

  • Revocation or deactivation of the identity card

  • Initiation of legal action where applicable under law

The association reserves the right to investigate complaints, review member conduct and take appropriate disciplinary action as deemed necessary to protect the integrity, reputation and objectives of the association.

All decisions regarding suspension or cancellation of membership shall be made in accordance with the internal policies and governance framework of Talentwood Media & Entertainment Association (TMEA).

11. Loss, Theft or Damage of Identity Card

In the event that the Association Membership / Artist Identity Card is lost, stolen, misplaced or damaged, the member must take immediate steps to report and document the incident.

The member shall:

  • Report the matter to the nearest police station, where appropriate, particularly in cases of loss or theft.

  • Inform the official office or authorized communication channel of Talentwood Media & Entertainment Association (TMEA) without undue delay.

  • Submit a formal request for re-issuance of the Identity Card, along with any supporting documentation or identification as may be required by the association.

The association may review the request and, if deemed appropriate, issue a replacement card.
Re-issuance of the Identity Card may be subject to additional administrative or processing charges to cover documentation and issuance costs.

Members are advised to safeguard their identity cards and report any incident promptly to prevent misuse.

12. Limitation of Liability

Talentwood Media & Entertainment Association (TMEA), along with its administrative and operational partners, shall not be held responsible or liable for:

  • Any unlawful, illegal or unethical activities carried out by members in their personal or professional capacity.

  • Any personal, contractual, financial or professional disputes between members and third parties, including production houses, agencies, organizations, employers or collaborators.

  • Any independent agreements, arrangements or contracts entered into by members with other individuals or entities.

Membership in the association and possession of the identity card does not create an employer-employee relationship between the association and its members.

Members act independently in their individual professional capacity, and all professional engagements undertaken by members remain their sole responsibility.

13. Pan-India Validity

The Association Membership / Artist Identity Card issued by Talentwood Media & Entertainment Association (TMEA) may be used for professional identification and association-level purposes across India.

The card is intended to provide recognition of membership within the association and may assist members in professional interactions within the creative, media and entertainment sectors.

However, the use and acceptance of the identity card are subject to:

  • Applicable laws and regulations in force within India.

  • Policies, verification procedures and discretion of production houses, studios, organizations, institutions, event organizers or other relevant authorities.

The association does not claim statutory authority or regulatory recognition through the issuance of the identity card.

14. Data & Documentation Policy

During the membership registration process, applicants may be required to submit personal, professional and identification-related information.

Such information may be collected and used for purposes including:

  • Maintenance of association membership records

  • Identity verification and administrative documentation

  • Communication regarding membership status, association activities and updates

  • Record management and database maintenance

The association and its administrative partners are committed to handling such information responsibly and in accordance with applicable data protection principles and privacy standards.

Personal information will not be used for unlawful purposes and will be managed in a manner consistent with the association’s administrative and operational requirements.

15. Policy Updates and Amendments

Talentwood Media & Entertainment Association reserves the right to review, update, modify or amend its membership policies, administrative procedures and related rules from time to time.

Such changes may be made in accordance with:

  • The association’s governing framework

  • Administrative requirements

  • Applicable laws and regulatory developments

Any updated policies, revisions or amendments shall be published on the official website or authorized communication channels of the association, and members are encouraged to review such updates periodically.

16. Important Legal Disclosure

Membership of Talentwood Media & Entertainment Association (TMEA) is free of cost, in line with the not-for-profit objectives of the association.

However, applicants may be required to pay a Processing & Documentation Service Fee for administrative and digital services associated with the membership registration process.

Such service charges, where applicable, are collected by:

for services including application processing, documentation handling, digital record creation and administrative coordination related to the membership process.

For clarity:

  • This fee is not a membership fee charged by TMEA.

  • It does not represent a donation, subscription or contribution to the association.

  • The fee relates solely to processing, documentation and administrative services provided through the application platform.

17. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an application for association membership and by holding or using the Association Membership / Artist Identity Card, the applicant confirms that they have:

  • Read the membership policy and related terms.

  • Understood the rules, regulations and code of conduct of the association.

  • Accepted and agreed to comply with the policies and guidelines governing membership.

Members further acknowledge that continued use of the identity card and participation in association activities constitutes acceptance of any updates or revisions to these policies as may be published from time to time.
